As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ilene works exclusively with children aging from 18 months to 18 years. Part of the treatment, when indicated, is for parents to be trained in Behavior Modification, in order to learn and know how to manage their children's behavior. Ilene has extensive training and experience in treating children of separating and divorcing parents. She does individual therapy with the children as well as family therapy, promoting open communication between parents and children. She helps the parents to understand the impact the divorce is having on their children. Ilene is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that works together in the collaborative divorce process. Ilene works with the divorcing couple as the Collaborative Coach and with the child(ren) as the Child Specialist in moving the divorce process along efficiently and quickly.
